Ecomare on Texel brings you face-to-face with the Wadden Sea’s coastal nature through interactive exhibitions, a seal sanctuary, and a sea aquarium. Daily seal feeding presentations take place at 11:00, 15:30, and occasional 14:30 sessions, while the sea aquarium offers feeding demonstrations. Explore the "Wonderlijk Wad" exhibition about the Wadden Sea World Heritage site and visit the Whale Hall featuring North Sea whales. The "Beach Finds Cart" and "Whale Facts" activities provide hands-on learning, alongside guided excursions like Wadden Sea walks and De Slufter nature reserve tours.
