Stichting Strender Vermaning

Housed in a historic 1775 Mennonite church on Texel, Stichting Strender Vermaning preserves Oosterend’s cultural heritage through exhibitions and events. Inside, explore a recreated 1940s–1950s grocery shop with vintage products like Sunlight soap and coffee grinders, alongside an exhibition on the village’s wier- and oyster-fishing history. A cycling route starts here, guiding visitors to former harbours nearby.
