Schapenboerderij Texel - Lammetjes knuffelen

Schapenboerderij Texel offers a rare chance to cuddle newborn lambs on the island. Every year, about a thousand lambs are born here, and many enjoy being held in the dedicated 'knuffelhoek' inside the barn. Visitors can reserve a half-hour slot to interact with the smallest lambs, while older ones roam freely. The farm also keeps cavies and chickens that can be held on your lap. Beyond the lambs, the farm introduces 25 different sheep breeds and features a petting zoo with goats, pigs, cows, and ponies.

Daily demonstrations show how sheepdogs herd the flock at 11:00 and 14:00 hours, with the farmer explaining their techniques. The historic Texel stolp barn, over 300 years old, now welcomes visitors to experience farm life. Entry includes parking, all activities, and access to the pony rides in good weather.
