From 20 December 2025 to 1 March 2026, Galerie Posthuys on Texel presents NOORDZEE XL, a new series of pastel drawings by Maurice Christo van Meijel. Since 2018, Van Meijel has created these works en plein air at Beachclub Texel’s strandhuisje 3, always using pastel chalk. His 2022 book Noordzee, featuring 73 drawings, is available at the gallery for €20 or by post for €25. The gallery also offers his collaborative book Natuur Vertaald (2017) for €27.50, showcasing his work with Marian Smit. Open Wednesday to Sunday from 11:00 to 17:00, Galerie Posthuys displays Van Meijel’s aquarelles, monoprints, ceramics, and paper sculptures.
