Seetingsnollen

Seetingsnollen is the highest point on Texel, reaching 24.8 metres above sea level—nearly 10 metres taller than De Hoge Berg. This narrow dune strip south of De Koog lies between Ruijslaan and beach post 17, named after 17th-century landowner Form Ceetingh. The area features pine forest, heather, and steep slopes covered in spring wildflowers, with blue sea holly brightening the dunes near De Koog.

Visitors can explore walking paths, cycling routes, and bridleways, including the 6-kilometre De Seeting walk starting at Ecomare. The terrain supports diverse wildlife like nightingales and blue kiekendieven, alongside plants such as sea buckthorn and orchids. Dogs are welcome on leads, and parking is available at Ecomare.
