Uitkijkpunt Texel Noord

Uitkijkpunt Texel Noord, also known as Telpost De Tuintjes, is a birdwatching observation post in the northern Eierlandse Duinen on Texel. Once home to the lighthouse keepers’ vegetable gardens, these sheltered plots—protected by shrubs against sea winds—remain an important resting spot for migratory birds. The Vogelwerkgroep manages the area in collaboration with Staatsbosbeheer to keep it attractive for birds while allowing visitors to observe them without disturbance.
